The Scenic Southsider

Keen for an escape to the southside of the city, away from the hustle and bustle of the old town? Starting from the meadows, this route explores the many wonderful woodland trails and paths that make up the Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill local nature reserve - an area of natural beauty and serenity. And let’s not forget the views from the top of both peaks which are some of the best the city has to offer and worth every stride!

Tour cost - 1 person x £70, plus £20 for each additional participant
Terrain – some pavements/roads, but mainly woodland trails and paths which can get wet/muddy underfoot. This is a moderately challenging route – trail shoes are recommended.
Start/finish point – Middle Meadow Walk, The Meadows (or as otherwise agreed)
